Kyle from DJ Podcasts writes "Unravel comes to us by Coldwood Interactive and published by Electronic Arts and was conceived after Creative Director at Coldwood Martin Sahlin introduced us to this game at EA’s E3 2015 press conference. You can straight away tell that Unravel feels very strongly about love and connections with family as our character Yarny literally is made of Yarn that exists to show the bonds we have for one another in that sense. This is the concept the developers are trying to convey to the player on a deeper level. So this game is very much filled with a lot of heart."
Paul writes: "For me, a very important piece of the puzzle when it comes to creating a platform game is the design of the main character. All the most successful games throughout history have a recognisable protagonist: Sonic, Mario, Crash Bandicoot, the list goes on. With the design of Yarny - the hero of the 2016 game Unravel - the designers at Coldwood Interactive smashed it out of the park."
