This was one of the best indie games I've played over the past couple console generations. While it may have been bare-bones in the area of game mechanics it made up with it in charm, soul and artistic design. The sense of despair blooming into hope and outside corruption giving way to the warmth of home was like a lesson in compassion.

Unravel may not be a game that has a lot of replay value, but many of the best experiences of life only happen once.

@Xeno,

I bought this game in a sale but never downloaded it until today, your comment inspired me to give it a go and I'm really glad I did.

The artwork is beautiful, The game just radiates charm.

Thanks for sharing :)

My analysis was directly inspired and an effect of the game. Considering I played it a year ago and it still rests fresh enough on my emotions must indicate it's something special.

Glad to be a link in the chain of inspiration. Pay it forward if you get the chance. 👉
