Quantum of Solace dated

VideoGaming 247:

"Speaking at Games Convention, Adam Gascoigne, co-design director of Quantum of Solace, revealed that the game will be available in November.

We saw Bond running through a sewer, shooting. We saw loads of shooting, in fact. A 'Gears of War'- style, duck'n'cover system will be used throughout the game.

The environment plays a large role too. There was a huge waterfall at the end of the sewer that was actually making the screen shake. We saw a pillar through a wall confirming destructible environments.

The graphics were amazing. We even thought it was CGI to begin with. Definitely one to look out for."

is getting killed.
the film was not like a bond film and the game is supposed to be like the film (more fighting NO gadgets??). how can you have a bond film with no gadgets?? its like having gta without guns

Bombibomb6144d ago

Casino Royale was the best Bond film ever.

resistance1006144d ago

Casino Royale was set before any other Bond film. If you read any of the books, you would know that bond doesn't get any gadgets until later on

Ben10546144d ago

that james bond only just reached hes 00 status at the start of the film, but he should still have some gadgets not just one of those things you find in the hospital in hes car (forgot the name).
and the story wasnt really exciting either half the time they are playing poker.
i got few more things i dont like about the film but i don't feel like writing a review (unless you pay me)
go watch tomorrow never dies or another previous film they are much better.
ps. i dont like daniel craig yet either

I prefer the new direction their taking with the bond films. More action, more realistic. Could this be a movie game worth buying lol.

Where Have All the Bond Games Gone?

Everyone’s been thinking about James Bond lately, with the franchise’s latest cinematic release tantalisingly close yet pushed back by the pandemic. It serves as a reminder of the wider obstacles faced by this particular franchise—one that can be nimble, competitive, and invigorating—but yet is a behemoth always struggling against the weight of its reputation in a changing creative landscape. The video games inspired by these films are a particular testament to those difficulties, considering their trajectory: an early enormous success in GoldenEye, through weakly received adaptations and original stories, to a near-decade of non-existence.

I paid a few quid for a copy and I enjoyed it.

You should try Blood Stone if you haven't already. It's going for the same price as Quantum but I reckon it's a better game all round.

I actually enjoyed the game. The scenery was really good and varied. It wasnt the best shooter ever, but it was certainly worth playing if you like the bond franchise at all. Bloodstone was good to, just different.
