XCOM 2 Review | 8BitChimp
Sam says, "I’ve been given a mission to assassinate or capture a VIP: a human that has collaborated with the invading alien forces, and now plays a crucial role in whatever dastardly plans they have in mind for what’s left of humanity. Naturally, for a mission of this importance I decide to put my best men on the job—so I assign fellow 8BitChimp staffers John Murray, Evan Buck, and Noah Todd to the operation, alongside U.S. presidential hopeful/sniper extraordinaire Bernie Sanders and accomplished stealth expert Big Boss. After selecting their gear, they board a transport shuttle and head for Seattle, where their mission—Operation Hellish Blade—is to be carried out. Once the transport arrives, they rappel out with style, ready to take on the world. They start making their way to their target’s position, but they’ve got a problem: John spots a heavily-armed mech and a group of soldiers guarding a cafe across the street. They aren’t a problem for the squad yet, but any action they take will quickly alert these rather dangerous opponents and the resulting firefight could easily turn nasty. I decide to keep the squad moving."
