Layers of Fear makes its way to a full retail release on consoles (PS4/Xbox One) having been available on PC since last year. The game offers some atmospheric moody adventuring as players assume the role of a painter looking to finish his masterpiece.
With Layers of Fear, Bloober Team reworks their previous horror releases into a single package that’s worth revisiting and getting spooked over again.
This is the definitive version of the game and it brings all the previous Layers of Fear content together in a cohesive whole.
GB: "Even in a year as excellent for gaming as 2023 has been, there have been more than a few disappointing releases."
Greyhill Incident had potential but got slammed. I’ll still try it, but on sale or GamePass. Someday.
pretty sure both consoles are locked at 30fps.

Yeah, the Unity engine is really starting to show it's seams. Firewatch has similar issues with frame rate and stuttering.
It's very intuitive and stable for less complicated games, but seems to be hard to optimize with more complicated stuff.
Finished this yesterday on pc. Loved every second of it. Jump-scare-tastic.
