Looks like the PS4 was set to RGB Limited while the Xbox One was set to RGB Full. I see this a lot with comparisons with one console set to Full and the other set to Limited and vice versa.
the game looks great. the PS4 version seems to have the better graphics. If you pay attention you will notice that the PS4 version gives a better sense of "3Dness". the object and people feel a bit more 3D (if that makes sense). You can notice this by looking the the neck brace around the girls neck, or even the characters themselves, the objects, etc. That is not to say the xone version looks bad. then both look awesome.
Author updated his article to say that his gamma was turned up on the PS4 version. It's clear that the extra resolution makes the difference. I would like to see frame rates, though. (Edit: For an in-depth comparison... http://www.eurogamer.net/ar...
Such a great looking game. After second son this is probably the one of the earliest games i can think of that truly looked amazing. Played the original dying light on ps4 its just breathtaking to look at.
