IGN:
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 refines the gameplay to the absolute best of the series and offers a large roster of playable characters. Unfortunately, it squanders all of that potential with a short and poorly presented campaign fought against buggy AI, a forgettable Adventure Mode and online matches that are plagued with connectivity problems. The Ultimate Ninja Storm series sadly does not end on a high note.
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, Soulcalibur VI, Blasphemous
All playable from tomorrow, May 3.
Blasphemous is a fantastic game. It has that Souls type storyline, very dark with a despair type atmosphere.
Another month and not much for me. Blasphemous ill try but no interest in the other 2.
Dont hate check my comment history.
Bandai Namco kicked off a new AniMAY Sale on the North American Switch eShop this week. Anime games are here with some of their biggest discounts yet, ranging from Naruto to Sword Art Online.
It's been said that every time an anime game is released, the anime community has learned not to get their hopes high up. Because of how huge the anime industry has become over the past few decades, it attracts its fair share of developers and publishers who are looking to cash in on the hype. […]
Fist of the North Star Sega Genesis, Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon R on SNES, Macross DYRL on Sega Saturn
One of the few sites - this time - that gave the very repetitive Ninja Storm 4 with its simple gameplay a fair score.
The 8 and 9 of ten scores for this game are hilarious.
More of a 7 or 8.
Lol at this score, I mean what a joke! So, the very same site gives ultimate ninja storm 3 an 8.6 (great) and regardless of not changing much and just making the game absurdly bigger and flashier it now gets a 5.5 (mediocre)!?
So, the AI spams long ranged attacks that you can dodge and chakra burst into them when far away? Guess that's a negative... He didn't like an additional mode that recaps previous events? Um, guess new comers interested in these things weren't kept in mind for this review... And connection issues online, which is a valid critique, but I'm not sure that's enough to drop it into mediocrity.
I'm sorry, but just by juxtaposition alone this game is a better game than the 3rd installment which this very site gave an 8.6. How are we to take these reviews seriously with these inconsistent critiques?
What a joke of a review.
These games are understood more by true fans of the series. I'm sure I will enjoy this as I play through the game whatever mode that might be since I plan to platinum it as well just like the last 3 I played. There is soooo much fan service in titles like this that reviewers have no bearing on my decision to purchase it and I'm sure a ton of fans will agree and answer with their pockets. This I'm sure will not be the last Naruto game I mean with the series continuing to it's 3rd and final arc with the son and life of Naruto's child Bourto!
