Sam Foxall from VGU writes: 'As Naruto’s tale finally wraps up, it only makes sense to send the ninja off with one last hurrah, in the form of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4. While this title should be a grand celebration of everything shinobi, this 6th instalment of the Ninja Storm franchise reveals how, just like the manga and anime, the series has become bloated with extra fluff while the core has been left to rot.'
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, Soulcalibur VI, Blasphemous
All playable from tomorrow, May 3.
Blasphemous is a fantastic game. It has that Souls type storyline, very dark with a despair type atmosphere.
Another month and not much for me. Blasphemous ill try but no interest in the other 2.
Dont hate check my comment history.
Bandai Namco kicked off a new AniMAY Sale on the North American Switch eShop this week. Anime games are here with some of their biggest discounts yet, ranging from Naruto to Sword Art Online.
It's been said that every time an anime game is released, the anime community has learned not to get their hopes high up. Because of how huge the anime industry has become over the past few decades, it attracts its fair share of developers and publishers who are looking to cash in on the hype. […]

Bait review
Hm. I read the full review. I can see where the reviewer is coming from, as I did agree with a lot of their points when mentioning previous instalments. Truthfully, I'm only picking the game up because it is in fact, the last. And there's comfort and safety in that fact. Everything I do will sort of matter, rather then be replaced by another game.
I grunted a little when he compared it to Call of Duty. I'm not entirely sure I can agree on it, but I also can't disagree.
I will point out however that by now those who have stuck with the series sort of know what to expect. A large roster never means a great roster, it just means that if there's someone you want to main, have at it.
We all know that the fighting mechanics aren't perfect, and yes, surely not balanced, and yes, there's also spam. But there's always a way to defeat them, if you're really good. You have to think things through and it's hard because so much goes on during the screen, you get caught up in the cool animation that you stop thinking about your strategy and you fall into the bombardment of a repetitive move that ultimately, kills you.
The series has never been a 10/10 job. The online battles or battling with friends is why the game even sells. They will advertise story mode, but the story went to the grave in both the manga, and whenever the anime catches up and quits with the filler. So like the reviewer pointed out, it's not their fault.
Do I think 5/10 is harsh? No. It might honestly be a downright honest review straight from the heart. But here's the thing. Even 5/10 can be gold to some of us. Remember that.
Chidori.
7 out of 10 at best. I still think rise of a ninja is the better game
