FGE - After teaming up with their baby selves, traversing inside Bowers castle, and traveling to Luigi’s Dreams, the Mario Brothers are back and are now teaming up to save both their kingdom and its paper version of a parallel universe. Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam is the first crossover of Nintendo’s Italian plumber and his paper doll version of himself. While it would be easy to write this off as yet another installment, Paper Jam makes numerous improvements to both its pacing and its combat system. Simply put, this is the best Mario & Luigi headlining game since 2009’s Bower’s Inside Story and a great way to kick off 2016.
The Mario & Luigi series has been dormant since the Nintendo 3DS, but the success of the Switch is the perfect opportunity to bring it back.

Super Mario RPG will always be my no. 1 Mario RPG. The N64 Paper Mario is a very close second.
Yeah, I think that the Mario RPGs, especially the earlier ones, have been pretty consistently good games.
