Taipei Game Show gets underway Jan. 28 at Taipei World Trade Center, with 2,000 booths by 300-plus exhibitors worldwide set to draw a record attendance of 450,000 during the six-day show.
Sony Interactive Entertainment has a massive presence at Taipei Game Show, and over the past couple of days they shared a lot of poctures from their booth and stage events.

Unfortunately, the beta is already over. They had a three day beta earlier in the month. I managed to get in and liked what I saw. There's still no release date on the game, but there was a cryptic remark from the devs about not deleting the beta client just yet, so maybe there's a chance they will do more stress testing.
Are you sure it's 40 titles and not just 40 stations?! I find it hard to believe they only have one station per title.

I just dunno man. Lots of these games love to throw in one character who looks under-age and has small boobs. Not even medium boobs but small boobs in contrast to all the other characters who are way more curvaceous.
I get it, the culture allows for 14 year olds to be wooed but in certain sections of Japanese society isn't sexual contact with a minor as an older man frowned upon? Fine if their ages are closer together.
It's just pervy in my opinion for the sake of it. But from what I can tell the Japanese actually view perversion in a much more light hearted/jokey way than we do in the west.
I'm no prude but I feel adding these characters is more contrived than it is appealing to younger players - keep her in DOA fighting game but in this spin off where you view the characters up close it's just weird.
I guess she's been added because this is all just a fantasy for players which means if you want to get off on video game characters who look young then that option is available to you.
Marie stands out like a sore thumb imo and I just don't like her design.

Still, I wish there would be more newer fighting games aching to Bushido Blade, Tobal 2 etc. Used to love fighting games but then they just stagnated and stopped bringing new ideas to the formula.
