Saw this the other day. Looks really odd. Is it worth the 6 bucks?

Orejillz3391d ago

Emily Wants To Play Review | Xbox One UK

We have to be honest and upfront here; when Chris was told he needs to review a game that involves killer dolls, clowns and a scary girl he was a little apprehensive to say the least. His inner hero told him to man up and play (while the rest of us hid behind the couch), it's only a game, after all, and what's the worst that could happen?

Ill pass on clicking 11 pages to see what they are.

MrsNesbitt3111d ago

Irritates the crap out of me, just put it in one list!!

lipton1013111d ago

Well there's actually substance here and not just funny punny moving pictures to gawk at. It's well written and deserves the "clicks" if you're actually interested in reading about these ten particular games. But I guess that's a lot to ask from the 2016 Internet population, no?

Utalkin2me3111d ago

Ohhh, here we go MR. I have my own office and make 6 figures. And no it doesn't deserve the clicks. Journalist get worse and worse with these multi page ad revenue clicks. You know what i do? I add these sites to my block list, just so if i ever click anything from them in the future, it will be blocked. And i have acquired quite a few from this site.

lipton1013111d ago

So a journalist trying to write an honest article with substance to make an honest buck is wrong because you have to touch your screen a few extra times to read it in its entirety?

Just to let you know chap, the clicky clicky of this article is strategic. It doesn't cater to 4th grade reading levels and attention spans. It's several thousand words and to amalgamate each segment onto a single page would turn off potential readers because it would appear to be "too long."

The beauty of making it 10 mouthfuls of substance is that after the 2nd or 3rd click, the audience is hooked and will see it through to the end. The author is smart and strategic and deserves to earn an honest dollar from an honest days labor.

MrsNesbitt3111d ago

Not really as they are listing the 'scary' games but want to hold you on the site as long as possible through 11 pages! Click bait is an intentional, misleading title and article.
