Final Fantasy XIV’s endgame is becoming a snoozefest with no clear end to it in sight. For the love of this excellent MMORPG, something needs to change and it needs to happen fast.

The harbor is your first location, from where you can run off to different neighborhoods. You can find the Aetheryte square quickly, the other parts are already laid out gradually. Basic insight: Tulliollal is built on a hill, so it has an even larger vertical footprint than, for example, Old Sharlayan in Endwalker. While the harbor is down, the royal palace is all the way up, and you can wander into different nooks and crannies.

One does not have to simply grind the end game. There's crafting that can be done, other classes to level up, golden saucer, gathering/making things to sell for massive gil.
I quit the game when I've realized that I was spending 8 hours a day on crafting for gil. I don't really need a second job, especially when I'm the one paying >.>
