Capcom resurrects Resident Evil Zero - and it shouldn't have. Find out why this offering is sub-par in CheatCC's review.
Darren writes: "I view Resident Evil Zero and the 2016 Remaster as a bit of an oddity in the series, the black sheep if you will. It tried something a bit different, and in the end did so with limited success."
everything about the game is great except for the inventory system. You literally spend half the game managing your inventory. And You have to leave your stuff like on the floor and remember where you put it. It's nothing like the inventory in any other resident Evil game It's cumbersome and highly annoying.
If you can get past that it's a cool game with gorgeous graphics

"atrocious player controls, predictable enemies, and a "frustrating save system that forced me to complete portions of the game several times over." Has this guy ever played a classic RE games?
"I found myself having to back up repeatedly and reacquire my targets before slowly pumping them full of lead. When I say slowly, I mean one slow speed of shooting regardless of how many times I pulled the trigger. The entire combination of shooting and moving was frustrating, and made the experience awkward rather than exciting and adventurous"
Again, has he ever played a classic RE?
Seems like the majority of bad reviews for these remakes is the fact that the game is too hard or are frustrated by the old style camera and movement system. Do they expect Capcom to release these games with mechanics from RE4-6?
