For horror gaming fans, 2015 was a fairly great year. Yes, there was some heartbreak in the form of Silent Hills being cancelled, but 2015 also saw a number of high quality horror gaming experiences launch, as we illustrated in our Best Horror Games of 2015 list.
With 2015 behind us, it’s now time to look forward to what 2016 will offer to horror gaming enthusiasts. The following 10 horror games releasing in 2016 stand out as the ones with the most potential, and are Game Rant’s most anticipated horror games of 2016.
Friday the 13th: The Game will be taken offline and all servers shut down after years of no updates following licensing disputes.
Ofc, but lets not act like it was only the disputes. Not enough people were playing it.
If you don’t plan on trick-or-treating or going to a Halloween-themed party, the next best thing is to relax with a spooky game, and PlayStation Plus members can get some cool games for free. If you’re a PS+ subscriber, there are a bunch of games perfect for Halloween that you can get completely for free.
Note: Some games require higher PS+ tier levels to enjoy free.
Can we stop with the word "Free" when it comes to these subscription services, please? These games aren't free if people are paying for the service.
All great games, honestly. Though, I did feel The Devil In Me was the worst game that Supermassive has put out.
I went out and bought Dredge, one of my favourite games i have played this year.
If you haven't played it, you really should give it a chance.

Wow! I can't wait for Overkill's The Walking Dead. I'm an avid fan of TWD series and I'm sure it will be a big hit.
