interesting thing is, that the switch 2 is still the inferior version, despite it being more powerful.
The third and fourth year are often the best years from 3rd parties in a console gen. They know the hardware so graphics reach their max before significant performance compromises are made and it's when we finally start seeing real advances in genres and gameplay, instead of prettier last gen games with gameplay refinements.
2016 is a Godsend of a year - I can finally play games I've been waiting for too long.

Just a tremendous year of putting lots of anticipation to bed - I'm not sure how I'm going to cope. Then there's the VR conversation, Nintendo's NX announcements, and I'm just going to be overwhelmed.
2016 is just a massive year for games. Once march rolls on by it will be just hit after hit.
