Dark Souls 3's Prestige Edition has "completely sold out", Bandai Namco has confirmed to VideoGamer, with the PS4 version allegedly selling out within 2 hours of going on sale.

Same. I never saw it, only the Collector's Edition on Amazon France. However that one is the same already: unavailable. Dang... Apocalypse Edition then.

Edit: Apparently for XBox One you can still order the Collector's Edition. Not for PC or PS4 though.

I think that's the one only offered for us North Americans. Then there is the Day 1 (standard edition).

yup thats the one and yeah i know the Europeans have the different prestige edition.

either way though im happy with the one i have. Ill import the european later on when the price drops if i ever want it.

%hit i just bought COD Ghost Hardened Edition for only 20 bucks on amazon and although i didnt want it i could pass that up.

It makes sense for die-hard fans or people who collect the games. LE's and CE's are definitely not for everyone, but hey that is why they are limited no? What gets me is how low some of them drop in price only months later...craziness!

I buy the collectors edition because i have a gaming room with a nice shelf with my games all hooked up and i like collecting these things and having my game room look dope. As it stands i bought an expensive projector and 140 inch screen just to game on my ps4 (although of course i use for movies)so i like things like this.

What projector did you get? I am trying to find one that isn't as sensitive to light, but it has been a losing battle so far.

I first had an optimum forgot what model which looked awesome when there was no light but was really washed at the lil hint of light. I recently ugraded to a 1080p/3D (3d works so good on it) Epson (ill edit this post when i look through my purchase hitstory to find the model because im at work). Frankly the Epson handles light wayyyyy better. I even have it on economic settings and even with my lamp on i still see the screen pretty clear so i imagine if i put it in a higher mode it would be really clear. Best thing about it (i did my research) the light bulbs are only 100 and they last years!!! my optima light buld was like 500!!! smh. I also dont notice no noticeable input lag and i dont even have it on its gaming mode (but im not really sensitive to that).

By the way you know all projectors are sensitive to light some more than others. This is one handles it really good though.

I got the Epson 2030 1080 p. I actually paid 900 for it and now its 700 so thats good. I got it from PC Richards.

Yeah, I know they are all sensitive to light. I am just trying to find one that maybe isn't a touch as sensitive...it is going in a windowless room in the basement, so there really isn't much to worry about. I would just prefer one that isn't as sensitive in case I have a group of people over and some people want lights for board games in the back of the room, while others want to play games. We'll see how it all plays out.

So the Epson is good for you. Like i said i can still see it clearly when the light is on although a bit washed (due to light being close to projector) but when i still have my light on and move light away from projector or dim lights its all good. This Epson model is known to have a clear picture even with some light coming in or on. I have it and i watch movies on it even with the light on and even on its economical setting.

I agree though technically they could be worth a few bucks if you manage to hold onto them for 30 years or so. There are some old consoles games out there from the 1980's that are worth some good money.

Dissapointed though...Future Press is not doing the strategy guide. Prima is. I knew something wasn't right when a Future Press guide is not up for pre order 3-4 months before the games release.

I think I have The Withcer 3 C.E. hardcover Prima guide and it is pretty good. So I will probably still get. There is a difference between "good' and "Future Press Good" though.

Prima guides are just so... bad. I use to write-off (no pun intended) the criticisms, but the last few I bought (years ago, might I add), were riddled with grammatical errors and so much misinformation (but to be fair, they are under a lot of constraints when writing up these things).

Totally agree, Prima are crap and their guides are terrible. This will be one guide that I'll be skipping

This article only applies to the UK, since it was sold via other websites in other european and middle eastern countries. Also the two hour thing i think only applied to the UK

however, I do believe that almost all are sold out, there might be some left by some stores to sell them off the shelf (this is my assumption based on how some middle eastern shops handle these things)

It would be nice if the author mentions that he is article is relevant only to the UK

Actually he mentions it on the end by linking a previous article about the details of the different editions. That clearly states that the prestige edition was only available on Amazon UK.

I went with the reg CE of this.. I honestly dont want the statue.. I just like the steel case, sound track, & art book.. I dont have space for 2 statues plus the other one i got from DS2..
