Psychonauts 2 Almost At Funding Goal

Psychonauts 2, the long-awaited follow up to Double Fine’s 2005 cult classic, is only US$100,000 shy of it’s funding goal with seven days to go, according to a recent tweet from Tim Schaefer. With such a short amount of time to go, it seems highly likely that Psychonauts 2 will exceed it’s funding goal of US$3.3 million. Psychonauts 2 has been crowdfunded using Fig, a service which not only allows backers to contribute to production costs of the game, but also guarantees them a proportional share of the game’s profits, should it make any, and is easily the highest-profile title to use the service thus far.
