20 games that make PS4 the best place to play in 2016

The montage above highlights 20 – count ’em – titles that are either full PlayStation console exclusives, or releasing on PS4 first. To my eyes at least, it’s shaping up to be one heck of a release slate.

I'm still waiting for that one game that I have to buy an xbone for. It was Mass Effect for me last gen. I can't imagine not having a PS4 right now. Persona 5 (I know it's PS3 too, but I'm talking next gen consoles), Uncharted 4, and BB was probably my favorite game from last year.

It is looking amazing...That dialogue is actually written by the same team that did season 1 of TellTale's Walking Dead and they are delivered by 2 actors who never met in person which was a cool decision for a game where 2 people communicate solely over walkie talkie. That one's my most anticipated for the top of the year personally, gorgeous game.

Err...no.

PC has the most-played games currently around, making them the biggest. Almost a million players daily on Dota 2, then there's League of Legends and Starcraft 2 where numbers are NOT tracked. Team Fortress 2 is always high up on the list.

Over 10,000 games on Steam. Less than 400 on PS4. Less than 300 on Xbox One. Roughly the same for Wii U.

Games run and look better on PC.

I fail to see how the PS4 is the best place to play.

What it SHOULD say is the best console to play on, then I'd 100% agree.

Persona 5 annihilates my 1000 dollar pc and the mmos and steam games i got for it. Itll be collecting dust until i get the delicious plat for p5.

We prefer great exclusives and amazing single-player experiences, that's why Sony exclusives get so many awards and real gamers really enjoy it.

Over 10000 games on Steam? Android and IOS have even more games than that, according to your logic, mobiles are the best platforms then.

Games run and look better on PC? Arkham Knight is a great example.

2016 is PS4's breakout year!

So many interesting games coming out from developers of all kind, for gamers of all kind. And this list of 20 only scratches the surface. Can't wait to play these games and finally see new game announcements from teams like Sucker Punch Productions, Naughty Dog, Santa Monica, Bend Studio, Sanzaru Games, and the rumoured brand new JRPG from Japan Studio, as well as the rest of the PSVR lineup. And they're not wrong here - PS4's lineup buries the competition this year.
