Nintendojo: "Dementium Remastered reminds me of some of Nintendo’s more recent remakes in that it doesn’t go too far trying to reinvent the wheel."
Reviews 2 Go just finished up the 3DS remake of Dementium: The Ward. Here are their final thoughts:
"Dementium Remastered is every bit as creepy as the original game was on the DS. While the repetitive environments and wonky controls don’t do the game any favors, the improvements and new features make it a worthy purchase for horror fans. "
An abandoned hospital? Blood on the walls? Zombie monsters? Creepy little girls? Mad doctors? Never seen any of that before!
Chalgyr's Game Room writes:
Dementium Remastered looks the part, but a short campaign, repetitive environments and a disappointingly shallow narrative. The exploration is actually fun in that tense, horror game kind of way while the pacing of the game is actually just about spot on. The end result is a mixed action horror game that is good for a few hours of play, but gives you little reason to come back to it again.
