Win Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, autographed by Retro Studios, this weekend at TSGs Metroid-a-thon for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospi

This weekend, The Speed Gamers (www.thespeedgamers.com), will be hosting a 72 hour Metroid Marathon, where they will be attempting to complete all nine game in the series, in three days.

During the marathon, they will be taking donations for St. Jude’s Children’s research hospital, an organization which helps children inflicted with cancer.

The Speed Gamers will also be giving away prizes after the completion of each game, leading up to their grand prize, a copy of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, autographed by Retro Studios

"Retro Studios has recently given their blessing and will be generously donating our grand prize, a copy of Metroid Prime 3 (Wii) signed by the development team. We are very excited to have their help and will hopefully do justice to the series they helped build."

The Speed Gamers have been hosting regular events for the greater part of this year. In March and in June, they attempted to through the Zelda series, raising over 2,400 dollars for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, and for Giggle’s, an organization for assisting autistic children. They have also held fan requested, mini events to raise awareness for their community, such as playing through the entire Super Mario series, completing all ten console Mario games (including Lost Levels and Luigi’s Mansion) in under 24 hours.
