Over the past year, much has been made of Kojima, his latest superb video game and his bizarre relationship with his employer. For every story written about the Konami vs. Kojima opera, the mythos surrounding the man grew just as much as the disgust enveloping the company. Let’s set the record straight: Hideo Kojima is not some sort of video game demigod. He is simply a man who makes games that are loved both for their quality and their oddity.
