Darren drags Antony out of his Star Wars spoiler proof bunker for another fun filled episode, in which the Sparks debate Destiny’s latest offering to their loyal gaming community and ask, have we finally reached the stage where microtransactions threaten to upset gameplay balance and if not, are we just one step away from the dreaded ‘Pay to Win’ scenario dividing ‘The Haves’ and the ‘Have Nots’ that lies in the Sparks worst nightmares?
Hideo Kojima and PlayStation go together like hobbits and breakfasts. That is to say, they're meant to be together, but they're also happy to serve up a PC port or afternoon tea if the time is right. Kojima's long-time collaboration with Sony means it always feels odd to see his name next to an Xbox logo, like Master Chief appearing on your PS5 or glimpsing your teacher in the big Tesco doing her weekly shop.
yawn. ^ All of this opinion piece sounds like someone’s recount when they get out of the norm and go on a hiking vacation and boast about their “life changing moments” over things extremely common and accessible to everyone. Get a rocket ship and take some selfies already. jezzus .
If you missed out on old games it’s nothing to apologize for. Just the way life goes sometimes. We can’t access everything in our short lives.
Luckily, everyone seems to like Death Stranding 2
I’m replaying the first game it’s great. It’s not for everyone no doubt. There are still a lot of people playing it.
Then why do a sequel straight away?
Why not something else like maybe a horror game similar to Silent Hills but rebranded into a new IP.
How world affairs shaped the core theme around ‘connection’ in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.
If you can't make to level 25 in this game. you truly suck at playing games. I could fall and trip on level 25.
Will not tip the balance of fair play. But it will cause a downstream affect that gamers will have to face. Bungie and activision is starting to push the envelope to see how far they can go with gamers. If these boosters do well, i cant imagine what bungie and activision will start charging.
I can predict that when bungie develop Destiny 2, their priorities wont be about "how can we give players a great experience" but it will be "where can we charge players?" mentality.
I dunno if anyone knows this but this is done in other games as well. It has more to do with people wanting to "jump in" to the new content and not grind their way to it. Although in the case of Destiny...its really not needed nor' does it change any of the games balance. I feel you lose out if you skip to 25, unless you've already done that and don't want to collect material/strange coin/weapon parts/ and faction rep.
Thats just my opinion though.
Paying for cheats is fair play now?
