Luc Besson Announces That Herbie Hancock Is Joining ‘Valerian’

Deadline: After taking to Instagram last weekend to announce that Ethan Hawke was joining the cast of the sci-fi epic Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, director Luc Besson has posted an item that multi-Grammy winning jazz musician Herbie Hancock will have a role in the feature adaptation of the French 1967 graphic novel series by Pierre Christin and Jean-Claude Mézières.
