VGChartz' William D'Angelo: "The Game Boy Advance is the 8th best-selling video game platform in history and the third best-selling handheld, behind the Nintendo DS and Game Boy. It sold 118.69 million units lifetime.
The Game Boy proved most successful in North America, but also sold well in Europe and Japan. It sold 40.39 million units in North America, 21.31 million units in Europe, and 16.96 million units in Japan. It also sold a combined 2.85 million units across the rest of the world.
70 games for the console managed to sell over one million units and seven games sold more than five million units."
