Sony loses confidence in Blu-Ray

Up until now, Sony has maintained that Blu-ray – which is included in PlayStation 3s as standard – will triumph to become the de facto next-gen DVD standard. However, it now appears the Japanese giant is less confident in its success, seeking to avoid defeat in the same manner VHS afflicted upon it with Betamax.
