Militia packs some neat ideas and provides a cool twist on the chess mechanic, but it ultimately falls short of becoming something memorable. The engaging strategy gameplay is backed by an enjoyable soundtrack, but its punishing difficulty and steep asking price mean you should probably give this one a pass
