The Nimbus has been positioned as the Unofficial Official Apple TV gaming controller - but is it up to the task?
Neil writes: "We love the SteelSeries Arctis GameBuds for Xbox. In a world in which there are hundreds, probably thousands, of gaming audio options available to players, we’re not sure that many will be able to top what has been created here."
The Arctis Nova family of headsets expands today with the introduction of the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5 series and Nova 5 Companion App.
Looks like a great headset and it will be interesting to hear how they sound. From the makers of Arctis, the most awarded audio line in gaming, SteelSeries, the original esports brand that fuses gaming and culture, today introduces an all-new white version of the award-winning Arctis Nova Pro series headsets.
Now Apple just needs to stop feeding consumers the same games over and over again and actually highlight the indie gems on the system.
I think in all fairness they put some pretty good Editor's Choice picks as features in the App Store banners week after week. Today Tin Man Games's new one Choices: And The Sun Went Out has a big spotlight, plus the feature they've started doing showcasing a bunch of paid games with no IAPs is a good move.
The Apple TV App Store is currently featuring handcrafted stop-motion game Lumina City which looks amazing, plus the yearly design awards they hand out usually go to some pretty nice indie picks such as Monument Valley, Year Walk etc.
Looking forward to taking the Nimbus for a spin with the soon to come GT Spirit. Just hope it's not too F2P.
I've been looking for a decent controller for quite awhile now. Cheers for the heads up!
