Sam Love writes- In 1975, the highly controversial Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom was released. Due to its depiction of intensely graphic violence, sadism and sexual abuse being inflicted upon youths, it remains banned in several countries to this day – it was only granted an uncut release here in the UK in the year 2000.
