I loved playing Destiny from day 1 but after regularly grinding for over a thousand plus hours,I finally said enough, after House of Wolves.

More than annoyed at the constant weapon nerfing and rubbish loot drop, my addiction was finally broken and decided to forgo TTK - mainly because of the price, here in the UK.

However, my son bought me TTK for my birthday in September so as to continue our weekly Co op play.
He's since defected full time to Fallout 4 so my addiction continues unabated :(

TLDR: addicted, cold turkey then readdicted thanks to son.

I would think that right now, with an avalanche of new triple A titles like Fallout, Uncharted, Halo 5, Tomb Raider, Battlefront, Black Ops III would be the absolute worst time to "get into" Destiny. By "get into" they mean of course ignore every other game and simply do crack, ie like hardcover WoW players who can't name another game that came out in the 2000's.
