GK has done a full review of the new "Wasteland 2: Director's Cut".
More:
"I’m a bit obsessive when it comes to customization, especially when it comes to games I’m likely going to spend countless hours in, so when I dove into Wasteland 2’s character creator and was tasked with making a whole party I was determined to get it right. Without any real tool-tips or helpful pokes in the right direction I happily crafted a fairly useless gang who had to beat up on enemies with sticks and a couple of weapons that none of them could really put to good use. Having put an hour typing their biographies, tinkering with their perks and skills and choosing their wardrobe and facial features, I was understandably bummed about having to start the entire process again. It wouldn’t be until try three that I finally got a workable band of Rangers together."
DSOGaming writes: "GOG.com has announced that the Winter Sale 2019 has begun, and is offering Wasteland 2 Director's Cut for free for the next 48 hours."
Frank writes: "No, it's not the most elegant port out there. But if you're a Switch owner who's yet to experience Wasteland 2: Director's Cut, now's your chance to enjoy one of the most satisfying CRPGs to release in recent years."
Wasteland 2: Director's Cut appears as a run-of-the-mill turn-based RPG, but certain qualities hold the game up to higher standards.
Any comments?
I actually ended up following a guide for a while (as I mentioned in the review) but after a while tread my own path. I'm still playing this one at the moment and will update my review if my opinion majorly changes. I think I'm pretty close to the end but got seriously sidetracked with optional quests.
