Gaming, Is it Luck or Skill based?

Aidan Bates – We’ve had games for years, from the old text based adventures and sprites made of 4 pixels moving across mazes to the now almost life-like characters in warzones and cooking shows. There has always been someone better then you at a game, either through practice and determination or by learning how to cut corners and “cheat” the system. Many people have asked the leaders in their field “What makes you so great?” and many will talk about their training regime and how they prepare themselves, but not many talk about their luck.
