Fallout 4 Is Too Big To Fail

Despite all of it's notable flaws, Fallout 4 was greeted with praise and acceptance from the gaming community.

Why is it that a game that is so problematic received such high praise? It's this thought alone that leads me to believe that Fallout 4 is too big to fail.
