GI:
Fallout 4 had a lot of hype to live up to and has done so admirably. It maintains all the charm that made previous installments of the series great while building upon that by including a fully voiced protagonist, excellent combat, and a crafting system that is so good that it will ruin lives. The story provides an addicting mystery for you to solve while still rewarding exploration.
In a year where we’ve seen some absolutely phenomenal games released, Fallout 4 is certainly one of the best. With 2015 winding down, Fallout 4 firmly places itself in the game of the year discussion.
A Fallout 4 Nintendo Switch 2 port seems like an inevitability, but what about other Bethesda RPGs like Starfield.
I think all games will end up on switch from Xbox. MS has embraced going to other platforms now if games aren't doing well on Nintendo MS may be more selective in the future
On playstation they have been quite successful
All are welcome to Switch 2. Microsoft Games Studios is interested in long term profits and market value not petty fanboy thoughts.
Starfield and Fallout 4 developer Nate Purkeypile reflects on Bethesda's city design, calling it the "antithesis" of the studio's older games
People acted like starfield was so less interesting than fallout and drastically different, but I call bs on that. Both are decent games, but they are both filled with the appearance of things to do and items to interact with but 99 percent are just there to be there with no significance. Fallout has better character work but they are both sort of illusions that they’re vast.
Studio has been going downhill since Skyrim. Every following game gets dumbed down more than the previous. I'll be shocked if Elder Scrolls VI even has dialogue options.
GB: "Gamers have quickly realized that a fun open-world game isn’t just about size and scope but rather how you interact with it."
Graphics: 9.5? Hrmmmmmm..........
98/10 on a game that runs like crap and full of bugs.Bethesda must have spend a lot of reviewers for this kind of reviews.New generation and we are still getting framerates below 30fps and reviewers keep cleaning and protecting Bethesda ass.Shame!
Bethesda games always have bugs. This is just a fact. When you make a game with a massive open world and the level of freedom you have in these games, it's going to happen. It doesn't take away from how incredibly fun they are, though. It is a minor annoyance.
I can tell you with confidence that Bethesda didn't spend anything on this review, by the way.
Chill. The bugs will be fixed. Don't take it too seriously.
I'd say for those of you who look at the bugs as a deal breaker, I get what you're saying. Perhaps you shouldn't play Bethesda games. They don't bother me enough to even put a dent in how enjoyable I think the games are.
