"Electronic Super Joy has been out for a while now on other systems and has finally made its way to the Wii U. If the name sounds familiar, it’s because the sequel released earlier this year on Wii U. Despite having a strange chronological release order, Nintendo fans should be glad that they can finally play the fast paced platformer."
Electronic Super Joy is simply too little too late to make it a worthwhile purchase on Nintendo Switch - especially when you consider its higher price tag than even its Wii U counterpart. It does include a few extra level packs, but It's ultimately bettered by games which came almost a decade before it, so it's a hard recommendation unless you have the patience of a saint and absolutely adore the genre.
I love this game plus finished it, including both Dlc's.. 9/10 from me..a proper hardcore platformer
Wow, 9/10 is high! If you played VVVVVV, Super Meat Boy, BIT.TRIP Runner & Runner2, I'd be intrigued to hear how you think those compare?
I am a fan of Super Meat Boy, and the whole Bit.trip series in general. I wasnt big fan of VVVVV.. Electronic super joy for me is better than all of those you have mentioned, but that doesnt mean I dont love Bit.trip stuff, which I really adore
