Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition brings the original’s diverse world, interesting dungeons, and great loot system to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Sure, the story is dull, and there aren’t a whole lot of original ideas at play here, but the vast expanse of the adventure should please anyone who missed out on it the first time around
Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition gets a re-release for the next gen. We find out whether it deserved it and whether it's worth purchasing.
The move to a DirectX 12 renderer for Darksiders 2: Deathfinitive Edition has led to the PC version experiencing shader stutter.
I am going to play this next month sometime. I have the PS4 physical copy and they give you a free ps5 upgrade. If sometime in the future they release a PS5 physical copy I’ll buy it for my collection
Still has bugs but still so good. 1 thing though, would’ve been nice to have complete dynamic UI, the gun/grab and horse icons and minimap are always on-screen.
Darksiders II Deathfinitive Edition is the enhanced version of 2012's action RPG Darksiders II, now being released on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S
Loved this game on PS3. I will replay it again during the winter but it’s going to be a while as I have too many games already. I didn’t realize they remade it for PS4 , I I might even own it I need to look
Loved & played the PS3 version to completion. Played the PS4 version to completion as well, even though it had some graphical issues. I started this today, it looks better than ever, there are some frame drops & camera issues here & there, but I can see myself playing it once again to completion.
I can’t wait to sit around the tree of life!
IGN have been mistakenly pushing this game as a 60 FPS title when in fact it is not. First VG247 with Uncharted nonsense and now IGN not even playing the game or knowing what 60 fps is actually like.
Their video is not 60 fps even if they claim it to be and the option is there for playback.
"This current-gen remaster takes all of the puzzles, exploration, and loot-crazy action of the original game, packs in a wealth of DLC, and improves the whole package while running at 1080p and 60fps, making it the best version of the game."
In IGN's review copy maybe, except it's 30 FPS and not steady either for everyone else.
This is a hack job review. Marty needs to get another job as gamers don't appreciate being lied to. You might be able to claim it as a mistake, but considering the video also makes the same error suggests some IGN bull**** going on.
