I love new releases as much as anyone, but how are we supposed to play them all? Just release them later. Developers know the difficulty in Tomb Raider competing with Call of Duty. Just move it later.
This really is frustrating.. Especially knowing that when summer time rolls around next year, there will be a severe drought and no games will be seen or at least very few and far between. I think some games would actually do better if they released in the summer, as there wouldn't really be anything for them to compete with.
