Publishers Need To Start Taking PC Gaming Seriously Or PC Gaming Will Leave Them Behind
ASidCast: We get to hear a lot of news on how PC ports of triple A titles are crap compared to their console counterparts and how games on PC are locked at 30 FPS even though there’s no reason for them to be locked at anything below 60 FPS. Developers and publishers alike have been treating PC gamers as second class citizens for a long time now. With GTA 5 releasing almost 19 months after it’s initial console debut and games like Assassins Creed coming out much later on PC compared to their console counterparts, it’s a trend that’s very obvious. Ubisoft’s CEO even went as far as to say on record that 93-95% of PC gamers are pirates.
But research currently indicates that PC gaming is already a formidable industry and is on the rise.
