Uncharted 4 multiplayer “shooting for” 8 maps, no remakes
Patrick Garratt writes : "Uncharted 4’s multiplayer is to include eight brand new maps, Naughty Dog said last night.
Lead multiplayer designer Robert Cogburn also confirmed that none of the new levels would be re-hashes from previous games.
“They’re going to be new maps,” he said. When asked if they’d all be new, he answered, “Yeah.”
He said the team was “shooting for” eight maps when asked how many would be included, but didn’t expand as to whether the eight would be available at launch or added over time.
The levels shown in Uncharted 4’s multiplayer reveal trailer in Paris yesterday appeared to focus on cover and verticality, with rope-use and climbing being key play elements."
