Although appearing overwhelmingly complex at first,Armello avoids the pitfalls of other games of its kind by providing an involving tutorial and plenty of guidance to new and returning players, complemented with a compelling narrative to keep players invested in the action. Potentially questionable multiplayer options aside Armello is a marvellous digital board game that combines balanced and thoughtful mechanics with a brilliant scenario that is incredibly easy to lose an evening to.
