"Darksiders was a surprise hit a few years back, giving us an almost 50-50 hybrid of The Legend of Zelda and Soul Reaver. Sounds like it wouldn’t work, right? Well it did, giving us exploration and adventure to rival any of Link’s legendary sortees and combat and traversal to put Raziel to shame. It told the story of the Horseman War, punished for inadvertently kicking off the Apocalypse and wiping out humanity. While the first game dealt with War’s quest to clear his name while shattering angelic spines with his enormous sword, the sequel tells the synonymous story of his brother Death, who sets out to vindicate War by reversing his cock-up."
Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition gets a re-release for the next gen. We find out whether it deserved it and whether it's worth purchasing.
The move to a DirectX 12 renderer for Darksiders 2: Deathfinitive Edition has led to the PC version experiencing shader stutter.
I am going to play this next month sometime. I have the PS4 physical copy and they give you a free ps5 upgrade. If sometime in the future they release a PS5 physical copy I’ll buy it for my collection
Still has bugs but still so good. 1 thing though, would’ve been nice to have complete dynamic UI, the gun/grab and horse icons and minimap are always on-screen.
Darksiders II Deathfinitive Edition is the enhanced version of 2012's action RPG Darksiders II, now being released on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S
Loved this game on PS3. I will replay it again during the winter but it’s going to be a while as I have too many games already. I didn’t realize they remade it for PS4 , I I might even own it I need to look
Loved & played the PS3 version to completion. Played the PS4 version to completion as well, even though it had some graphical issues. I started this today, it looks better than ever, there are some frame drops & camera issues here & there, but I can see myself playing it once again to completion.
I can’t wait to sit around the tree of life!
Great games for this holidays
Loved the first one, but the second one was a technical mess might give it another try down the road
I love this game, but 9/10 for a remake to this gen is ridiculous. Especially when the original game only got low 80's on Metacritic.
I don't know how the same game all of a sudden gets 10 points better 3 years after release.
On Metacritic:
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune - PS3: 88
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves - PS3: 96
Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception - PS3: 92
Uncharted: A Nathan Drake Collection - PS4: 87
What a world we live in. 1080p 60 FPS too. Drake's Fortune looks atleast 40% better than the original. They all play better on PS4 as well. I ignore most reviews and research and research some more on the game I want to purchase.

The game I'm having a blast with right now and its only a 76 on Metacritic is the new Assassin's Creed Syndicate. Don't always go by lower scores either. You might end up liking the game and it might be a 9.5 score to you.
Lazy 30fps remaster. Don't support this cheap cash in.
