Carmine M. Red writes for NWR:
"There is absolutely no shame in being a Trauma Center clone. If you're going to copy a gameplay mechanic then it's best to copy something that's innovative and fresh and hasn't been done a million times before. Majesco's Zoo Hospital doesn't pretend to be anything more, just an enjoyable operation experience with a menagerie of patients."
GamesRadar writes: "We spent the first ten minutes of Zoo Hospital rubbing a baboon, trying to locate its 'sweet spot'. It felt strange (the scenario, not the baboon) but such is the life of a vet, and before long you'll be shaving bison and soothing zebras. Basically, this is Trauma Center for animals: identify a sick creature's ailment and set about curing it."

* Rubbing baboons?
Zoo Hospital is a very bare-bones medical-themed puzzler that is short and dull, focusing on heavily repeated procedures, as well as simplistic operations that require almost no strategy at all. It's a pathetic attempt to capitalize on the Trauma Center formula, which needs more than cuddly creatures to succeed.
DS-X2 writes: "Recently our reporter James had the pleasure of interviewing producer Nicole Goodfellow about their upcoming Nintendo Wii title Zoo Hospital Wii, developed by Australia's Torus Games, and some other things."
