So is Twilight Princess being listed as an HD remake or a Virtual Console port

If it really is an hd remake, I would think Nintendo would be hyping it, like they did with WWHD. So in my mind I do not think, if this HD release is real, it is not a fully realized remake like WWHD.

Yeah, I don't expect digital Gamecube games on Wii U, especially at this point. However, I can definitely see them appearing on the next console.

Unfortunately the Wii U probably isn't powerful enough to emulate GameCube games, which is why none have come available on the VC.

That's the weird part about it - no emulation needed. Because the Wii U has Wii BC, it already has all the hardware it needs to run GCN games.

Why? It was a perfectly good game in the series. Yes, it didn't live up to the stellar achievements of others in the canon, but judged alone, a good game. It was Corruption which for me was the worse Metroid. Yes (again), a very, very good game judged alone, but the isolation which has become standard for the series, gone. Super Metroid and Prime are still the leaders and arguably both vying for best game of all time.

The reason the game is bad is that the story has horribly paced and written. The portrayal of Samus made her weak. Her monologue in the whole game is boring and full... It's not that the gameplay was bad, I actually enjoy how the game plays, but that's why the game is shunned in the eyes of Metroid enthusiasts...

for the first 30minutes. I thought this was supposed to be Samus and Metroid not a CW show.

This game is a sequel to what I hold dearly as one of the best metroid games (Fusion), and they turned her into the most vulnerable depressive soap opera character possible imo. To me the game is a huge disgrace to the entire series that Retro helped stabilize with Prime.

I think Twilight Princess HD will release before Zelda U if this is true. Wind Waker HD was a stop-gap title before Zelda U, and that was before its delay. Now that it's coming even later, I think another remake is a no brainer. As long as this doesn't effect the team that's working on Zelda U (which I doubt it is,) then I'm all for it.

TP is one of my favorite games of all time.

Skyward Sword deserves to reach a larger audience. Forward thinking, game changing, an absolute epic. Building the game around Motion Plus gave the franchise legs like Resident Evil 4 did for its equivalent series of games. Yes, after Resident Evil 4 came some truly uninspired games, but Resi 4 cant be responsible for that. Hopefully the same doesnt apply for Zelda...of which I'm CERTAIN it wont.

Skyward sword is not "waggle controls" twilight princess on the other hand, only the swordplay was.
