Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Review – AGR

So, finally here it is guys and girls! Rachael's personal, most anticipated game of this year!

Metal Gear Solid V is the final installment in the Metal Gear series (Nooo! Kojima we miss you already!). For anyone not familiar with these games, the Metal Gear saga is a long running series of action-adventure stealth games, created by Hideo Kojima. They follow a long and slightly complicated storyline and depending on which game you play, would follow either Big Boss (The most important character of this series, I would say), or his ‘Son’, Solid Snake, and their attempt to destroy the super-weapons known as ‘Metal Gear’. Sounds simple enough, but the story can get far deeper than that, and is full of twists (and of course, being a Japanese game, sometimes downright wacky events), sometimes happening along side real life historical events.
