Caffeine: Episode One Review | CGR
The reviewer writes: "The earth has become addicted to coffee. With the demand so high, corporations have built space stations with the sole purpose of mining for a mineral to create synthetic caffeine. You have just woken up on one of these stations alone, with no memory of who you are.
Caffeine is a three part game that, as mentioned above, is set in a space station. When you start playing you are taught the essential controls but after that there is no hub save for a small dot in the middle of the screen. This means no waypoint markers, no minimap, nothing to help you on your journey through the space station. You are given complete immersion, and are forced to figure out everything on your own. The only help you get is some notes stuck to the wall from when the crew members were still there."
