There are a lot of man babies on this site saying the last of us 2 . Just accept it the last of us 2 is probs this gens masterpiece . And save you man child tears for when it cleans up all awards next week at the game awards . PlayStation is an unstoppable powerhouse that keeps pumping out gems after gems.
It's the fact that the game is $60 at launch, when it's obviously not a complete product. If a car regularly broke down, didn't start or had missing features that the commiserate $30K price tag would indicate, it would cause problems. In fact, those would be the sort of problems that would be duly noted by Consumer Reports or any other watchdog, consumer-driven publication.
On top of that, they'd probably say something like "I cannot believe this car is thirty thousand dollars." or "It's not worth the thirty thousand dollar asking price."
So, when you see a video game do the same exact thing, don't be surprised when the watchdog, consumer-driven industry publications make note of the fact that they cannot believe such a product is being sold to people for $60.
Ya, who cares about standards and things because prices relative to their quality or time of development?
Its an interesting discussion to have should we expect more from something because we paid more for it - yeah usually. Take Colonial Marines, 60 bucks? No. I got a new copy for 7 bucks - didn't expect much and yeah I dont have anything positive to say about the game but I've dropped 7 bucks on worse things in life.
Can't read article cause it says the page contains malware but i'm hearing a lot of the articles being submitted are getting these kind of virus pages so i don't know whats going on with that.
Anyway i did buy the game at launch i didn't pre-order it but i did say i'd try it and i did enjoy playing THPS5 (i did get that feel of the old days playing the old tony hawk games).
Though a lot of things killed the enjoyment specifically the bugs and glitches i didn't so much care on the graphics it's not like tony hawk games stood for any graphical master pieces in the past but i'd run into glitches where you get stuck into the ramp, get kicked off the rail or stuck in the rail, getting kicked out the application etc and a big bug where it deleted all my progress and the only way i got it back was through ps plus storage uploading.
Plus i felt they could of add much more but didn't, like finding the VHS tapes or dvd's getting these in the old games would always unlock some hidden videos and such that added more entertainment in getting them so getting these in this game there was no reward for it at least that i don't know of and the sound track personally i hated the sound track in this game it was boring blah blah blah songs to listen to and none of them got me pumped in the game to skate like in the old THPS games like songs of zeabra head:check or the mad capsule market: pulse or gold finger: superman etc for examples that were fun to listen to. This game only took me a week to platinum and it would of been faster than that if it wasn't for the bugs.
I'm more concerned about it's quality than it's price. bad quality is bad quality I wouldn't even pay 15 for it
