Fatal Frame Call-In Campaign Scheduled For September 29

Nintendojo: While this should have been cause for celebration, not everyone is excited. Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water is currently only scheduled for release in North America as a digital title, despite the fact that the game will likely take up a lot of room on the hard drives of Wii U owners. The game is also getting a special edition release in Europe, naturally making North American fans a bit envious. In an attempt to sway Nintendo of America once again, the Operation Zero campaign has scheduled a call-in event for September 29, asking fans that want a physical release for the title to call the company and plead their case.

As a European, I'm gonna make sure I get this physically. I really feel sorry for Americans. After finally getting into the series, I'd hate to miss out on owning an entry.

I got an external HD for my Wii U, so getting it digitally doesn't pose any issues for me, but I hope the campaign succeeds.

90% digital here. Beautiful box art though..

I really hope we at least get a standard retail edition.

This should deff be physically released since there isnt much coming out at retail for Wii-U. Digital only is them being way to careful and not trying to advertise the game properly!!

I mean that was sort of obvious.
There was literally nothing on this franchise, then they ported Maiden of Black Water likely because it was the easier one to translate to modern devices being a Wii U title and all. And now we are getting a remaster of the 4th title. So it stands to reason that Maiden of Black Water was successful enough to start the whole process.

A remaster of the Fatal Frame 2 remake that was on Wii would be very welcome as well. That game is great. Scared the crap out of me the first time I played it as well lol.
