This is gonna be amazing for Vita!

donthate3563d ago

I thought the PS4 already had this, as this has been on the Xbox One for a long time now.

Surprised PS Vita is getting it.

The PS4 has a unique setup. It is integrated into the OS in Live From PlayStation. It has Twitch Streams and UStream broadcasts in one area. It works very well, It is limited to PlayStation content only though and carries the PS UI look as its essentially a Sony app running the twitch API. This is the full custom app from Twitch like what they are doing on Xbox. I hope they Sony will continue to support both formats though.

And for Vita, this is truly going to be amazing.

they better keep Live from PS

StormLegend3563d ago

Agreed! Having both would be awesome

Hope we get a Skype app next

I need Skype on PS4!!!

We need skype but it's not going to happen since Microsoft owns it. Most likely Sony will end up either creating their own service or still going with OoVoO like they announced a few years back.

That’s awesome! As with all these types of challenges, it always makes me wonder if someone did this ages ago, just didn’t have a way to show “proof” that they did.
