Not if these things are regulated properly.

The problem with the modern economy is that politicians simply do't understand any of this stuff (how many of them even play video games?), so just let the market run its course.

What needs to happen is regulation, such that laws of sale are established which cannot be overridden in small print. Perhaps then, we might see an end to misleading terms and conditions, casino-like micro-transactions, and such.

Wether it was free or a demo is irregardless. If you got a free slurpee on 7/11 day and after taking your first sip the cashier takes it back, how would you feel?

If only the pt demo was in a disc, like the ones that would come with a magazine back in the day, that game would be playable to this day, too bad its digital only, a wasted gem.

Why after first sip? Pt was avaliable for a year...it was known when it would be taken down... this comparison isn't equivalent.

Totally agree with both.
My comment was a answer to @crazed_shadow27 to their stupid question. I didn't like see PT be deleted, because i even not had the opportunity to play it. BioShock and PT are too different situations, even because i believe PT wasn't really cancelled, Konami only do that, to gamers have their attention in MGSV.
