NWR:
The king of TGS makes its return. Again.
Monster Hunter has been a staple of the Tokyo Game Show for years. Capcom always puts together an extremely elaborate booth that is permeated with all things Monster Hunter. This year, although there were nearly half a dozen Monster Hunter titles at the show, Monster Hunter X (cross) was THE Monster Hunter game that Capcom wanted people to play at TGS. Luckily, I had a chance to get into the booth and try it out.
Traditionally fans have had to wait a long while between Monster Hunter games. Discounting ports, enhanced versions, and lesser spin-offs, we’re talking a good three to four years before the next mainline entry shows up. With new weapons, monsters, locations, and bags of mechanical refinements, it’s often worth the wait. The half-decade transition between Monster Hunter Tri and last year’s Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate saw plenty of clever add-ons and revisions, propelling the world-beating franchise to new heights.
In the past few hours, Amazon Italy has updated the product page of Monster Hunter Generations, revealing the possible European release date of the game.
As reported by the well known online retailer, the title might be available on the Old Continent since September 30, 2016.
During the latest Nintendo Direct, the house of Mario and Zelda announced that Capcom’s Monster Hunter X will come west as Monster Hunter Generations.
I am so happy that this game is coming west. This series is one of my top 5 favorites. Such a fun game. After 250 hours in MH4U, I'm ready for a new game.
