Hype. Many games have fallen victim to this foul fiend, some few have managed to escape it’s clutches and fewer still have managed to best this beast. So on the rare occasion when a game does best the fiend we remember it for ages. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is one such game, a game that was surrounded by an overwhelming amount of hype yet somehow it still managed to champion the fiend.
